If you have a machine that’s just been unloaded from a semi, paint damage, swirl marks, and scratches are probably non-existent, for new vehicles typically arrive at dealerships wrapped in protective vinyl.
However, once that vinyl comes off, even new automobiles are vulnerable to airborne contaminants. If you don't feel like your brand-new automobile requires a high pH ceramic prep shampoo scrub-down or a clay decontamination rub-down, at least hit it with a properly blended Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) solution, followed by a clean microfiber towel wipe-down.
