Can I Ceramic Coat My Wheels?Updated a year ago
Nano ceramic coatings, like Armor Shield IX, bond beautifully with aluminum alloy wheels, regardless of whether they are powder coated, dripping with chrome, or constructed from carbon fiber.
Just make sure that you are applying the coating to wheels that have been removed from a vehicle, as it will make the job both far easier and cleaner. This will also keep the ceramic coating well away from your brake rotors, as its slippery nature poses a risk of greatly reducing stopping power.
